Upon your arrival, Amie, our Treatment Coordinator will orient you to the office and help you check in with our automated sign-in service. Next, she'll ask some questions to start to get to know you and to understand how we can address your concerns. We'll take a few photographs of your face and teeth, and take a complimentary panoramic xray. Amie will introduce you to the different types of braces we offer, and then you'll meet with Dr. Hamada. She will conduct a thorough examination and discuss different solutions for your problems should there be a need for any intervention. Be aware! She LOVES questions, so PLEASE ASK!!!
If treatment is indicated, the next step is diagnostic records. These records consist of study models, diagnostic photographs and orthodontic x-rays (all are obtained at our office). The procedure requires about 20-30 minutes and can be done following most first visit appointments. Once this information has been obtained, Dr. Hamada will review the information and design a treatment plan specific for your orthodontic needs.
We recommend a visit to your dentist to confirm good oral health before initiating orthodontic treatment. Regular dental visits are also necessary during orthodontic treatment.
