Your First Visit: What to Expect
Upon your arrival, Amie, our receptionist will orient you to the office and help you check in with our automated sign-in service. Next, you'll meet Sheila who will escort you to our consultation room for your first visit with Dr. Hamada. Sheila will guide you through the steps of your treatment.

- Treatment is not needed at all
- Treatment will be needed, but should be delayed until appropriate growth, tooth eruption, and/or other factors are monitored or addressed
Diagnostic Records & Treatment Planning
If treatment is indicated, the next step is diagnostic records. These records consist of study models, diagnostic photographs and orthodontic x-rays (all are obtained at our office). The procedure requires about 20-30 minutes and can be done following most first visit appointments. Once this information has been obtained, Dr. Hamada will review the information and design a treatment plan specific for your orthodontic needs.
Dental Care
We recommend a visit to your dentist to confirm good oral health before initiating orthodontic treatment. Regular dental visits are also necessary during orthodontic treatment.
